The female British hiker who died after being swept away in a Majorcan canyon during flooding has been named as Sarah Jane Thompson.
Police and firefighters are due to resume their search tomorrow for 26-year-old Sarah’s missing boyfriend Alexander Johnson, 32.
Authorities confirmed on Wednesday that a body found after flash flooding in Majorca was that of a missing woman after a huge search and rescue operation was launched the day before when the two Brits were declared missing.
Ten people, including people from Britain, France, Germany, and Spain, had been trapped in severe flooding following heavy rain and were rescued by the country’s Civil Guard. The 32-year-old’s body was finally found in the area.
