VIDEO: A University of Kentucky student pleads guilty after singing the N-word 200 times at black staffer

Prosecutors have demanded a year in jail and 100 hours of community service for former Lexington University of Kentucky student Sophia Rosing, 23, who assaulted staff and police officers during a drunken tirade of racist abuse in November 2022. Rosing called a young female desk clerk the N-word 200 times and continued yelling racial slurs, biting and kicking officers, and boasting about her ‘wealth.’
On Monday, she pleaded guilty to six counts, including four of assault, which were reduced to fourth-degree minor injury as part of a plea deal. She now faces 12 months in jail and has been suspended from the University of Kentucky, permanently banned from campus, and lost her job and social media partnerships. VIDEO:
