Extensive fire burning near El Dorado, Kan., several departments responding

BUTLER COUNTY, Kan. – A large fire burning near El Dorado prompted a heavy emergency response that includes eight area departments. The fire, reported near Haverhill Road and 40th Street is extensive enough for smoke to be seen near the line between Sedgwick and Butler counties.
