Mechellea Williams: Woman killed in Orland Park shooting identified

ORLAND PARK, Ill. – A woman was found shot to death early Wednesday in southwest suburban Orland Park.

Police responded to a report of shots fired just after midnight near 170 Redbud Lane. When officers arrived, they found a gunshot victim inside a vehicle. Despite life-saving measures, the woman was pronounced dead.

Orland Park police have identified the woman as 28-year-old Mechellea Williams of Chicago.
