Update: active shooter at Halloween party on the northeast side of Indianapolis

Indianapolis Shooting: 6 hurt, brawls, active shooter at Halloween party with multiple underage in Indy’s northeast

According to reports, one of the subject’s mother called the South Bend Police Department following suspicious activities after multiple underage with costumes started a fight and many reportedly drew out their weapon. The incident happened at a location in the 1718 N Johnson St. at approximately 1 A.M.

According to the South Bend, Mishawaka, and St. Joseph County Police scanner, the disturbance happened at a party with multiple underage subjects heavily drinking and smoking. A heavy police presence was seen in the area of Windyridge Court and in the 5100 block of East 65th Street, South Bend, IN as multiple departments responded to the incident.

First responders located four teenagers with gunshot injuries at the scene. After the search, two more victims were located with gunshot wounds. According to officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the victims are in stable condition. The suspect is currently at large. According to locals, most of the teenagers were from attending from South Bend, Mishawaka, and Indianapolis.– /wp:paragraph –>
