One man killed, another injured in Northeast Spokane shooting

SPOKANE, Wash. — One man was killed and another man was injured in a shooting in Northeast Spokane early Wednesday morning.

According to the Spokane Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting at an encampment near North Colton Street and East Dalke Avenue (6100 block of North Colton Street) just after 3 a.m. Wednesday morning.

When officers arrived, they found two men who were shot. SPD says one of the men who was shot died at the hospital, and the other man is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
