Atlanta’s mother Deion Patterson says her son ‘ran out of medicine’

killing one person and injuring at least four others inside an Atlanta hospital said her son opened fire after being given “misfired medication”.

Minyone Patterson – who is cooperating with police as they search for her son, Deion Patterson, 24 – appeared to blame her drug regimen for the shooting at Northside Hospital Medical Midtown on Wednesday. 

“The pesky VA gave him some screwed up meds, and all he wanted was an Ativan,” Minyone told The Daily Beast, referring to drugs used to treat seizure disorders such as epilepsy. She gave no further details and hung up.
