Greensboro police fire academy cadet after DWI arrest, breath test shows 0.19

A Greensboro police academy cadet has been fired after being arrested Friday morning on a charge of driving while impaired, the Greensboro Police Department said. The court has revoked his driver’s license for at least 30 days from today’s date.

The department terminated the employment of President Rimpsey, 31, following the arrest.
