Police: 18-year-old injured in Monett, Mo., house shooting; suspect in custody

An 18-year-old man is recovering after being shot inside a Monett home early Friday morning, according to the Monett Police Department. Upon arrival, police located the wounded 18-year-old victim and took a 22-year-old man into custody at the scene.

Officers responded to a residence in the 500 block of Pearl Street shortly before 4 a.m. following reports of gunfire.
