$9.8M awarded to Carthage, West Carthage joint water system

The money will be split between the two villages. The upgrades include replacing old water mains and fire hydrants in both villages.

A private construction company, the Lawman Group, has been contracted to do most of the work. One of the water mains to be replaced in West Carthage is at the intersection of Stone Street and High Street.
