Fire Away app launches to help Sisters-Camp Sherman Fire District residents

— The Sisters–Camp Sherman Fire District launched a new web application today called Fire Away to provide residents with around-the-clock access to wildfire preparedness guidance. More than 50 volunteers currently assist the district by working directly with homeowners to identify steps for preparing properties against wildfire risks.

The resource expands on the fire district's ongoing public education and volunteer programs in Sisters, Ore.
