Audits Finds Mayville State University Giving Out Tuition Waivers Incorrectly

(KNOX/KFGO) –An audit looking into Mayville State University has found the university was incorrectly giving out tuition waivers. During a two year biennium period that wrapped up last summer, the office says that Mayville State gave more than $700,000 to 331 students.

The North Dakota State Auditor’s Office says cultural diversity and athletic waivers were being given out to students who did not meet the requirements for them.
