Fire on Elm Street in Rockford causes estimated $60K in damage

The cause of a house fire late Tuesday morning is under investigation, the Rockford Fire Department reports. According to Captain Phil Nedved with the Rockford Fire Department, 19 firefighters helped put out the blaze.

27, crews were called to a home in the 3400 block of Elm Street.
