Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority Board of Commissioners approves construction of new fuel farm, next phase on runway rehab

Ongoing efforts to for the modernization and expansion of McGhee Tyson Airport dominated the agenda Oct. Phase 3 dovetails into the work completed in Phase 2 with construction of Taxiway Y and Runway safety Area.

The reconstruction of Runway 5R/23L is being completed in five parts, with two phases completed.
