Man dies in single-car crash in Prairie Village, Kansas

A single-car crash in Prairie Village Wednesday left a 39-year-old man dead.

Wednesday on reports of a single car crash at the intersection of 66th Terrace and Roe.

The driver of the SUV, a 39-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Crash under investigation

There, an initial investigation led officers to determine a Chevrolet SUV was heading northbound when witnesses said the vehicle veered off the road and into a fence.

Prairie Village Police said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Police say they were called to the 6700 block of Roe Avenue at approximately 1:50 p.m.
