Suspect in Savannah, Georgia Dave’s Hot Chicken shooting death requests jury trial

Jakobie Johnson, 19, pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and requested a jury trial. Johnson was indicted on charges including malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Prosecutors said Johnson shot and killed Najeh Williams, 21, outside the restaurant in April.
