Jet2 Flight LS1310 Veers Off Runway at Birmingham Airport, UK - Video

A Jet2 Boeing 737-800 briefly left the runway after landing at Birmingham Airport, UK, on Sunday, October 25, before returning to the paved surface and taxiing to its stand.

The aircraft, identified as G-JZHE, was operating flight LS1310 from Venice, Italy.

Jet2 Confirms Passengers Disembarked Normally

Jet2 attributed the incident to exceptional weather conditions associated with Storm Boelo. The airline said the aircraft immediately returned to the runway and confirmed that everyone disembarked normally.

Reports described the aircraft moving off the left side of the runway during its landing roll.

Another Angle of the Landing

A further recording, credited in the accompanying post to UK-Aviation-Spotter, reportedly provides another angle of the incident.

The footage alone cannot establish the pilots’ control inputs or confirm claims about tyre damage, braking or the precise sequence that caused the aircraft to leave the runway.
