Magnitude 5.8 Earthquake Reported in Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush Region

A magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan, CGTN Europe reported, citing the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The epicentre was approximately 70 kilometres southwest of Ashkasham, according to the report.
