Nebraska Supreme Court rules Lincoln must pay AG’s fees in petition case
The Nebraska Supreme Court ruled Wednesday in favor of granting the Nebraska Attorney General’s office legal fees over its charter amendment battle against Lincoln officials. “Whether it was for political reasons or not, our lawsuit should have never been needed,” Hilgers wrote in an X post.
The ordered amount is $9,150 rather than the $19,000 that was suggested by the AG’s office.
