Man Hit By Metra Electric Train Near Stony Island Station During Monday Rush Hour

A Metra train hit a pedestrian Monday morning in South Shore, the second such crash in three days. Inbound and outbound trains were stopped as Metra Police and the fire department responded to the crash.

A spokesperson for the fire department could not immediately be reached for comment.
