One year after Halloween incident, fear remains over immigration enforcement

The three detainees were taken into custody for several hours before being released at Chicago FBI headquarters. But community leaders and activists say federal agents remain active, and for many residents, so does the fear.

Since then, the multivehicle caravans of federal agents have largely disappeared, and federal helicopters are no longer a common sight or sound over the city.
