Tropical Storm Champi: Typhoon warnings issued for Guam and Rota

Tropical Storm Champi (29W) has prompted typhoon warnings for Guam and Rota, according to the National Weather Service in Guam’s update valid at 2 p.m. ChST on Friday, October 16, 2026.

Saipan and Tinian are under tropical storm warnings, with a typhoon watch also remaining in effect for both islands.
