U.S. warned Ukraine of intelligence cutoff over Russian refinery strikes, Washington Post reports
U.S. intelligence officials warned Ukraine that further strikes on Russian energy sites would trigger an immediate halt to all intelligence sharing, The Washington Post reported.
The warning was conveyed to the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington, according to the newspaper’s October 14 report.
The reported threat comes amid uncertainty over Ukraine’s access to U.S. intelligence. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Washington was continuing to share intelligence with Kyiv.
The warning does not establish that a complete cutoff has taken effect.
