Holland Woman Charged in Fatal Holland Township Crash, GoFundMe set up for family

Ottawa County, MI ) – A Holland woman is facing an operating while intoxicated causing death charge following a fatal crash Tuesday night in Holland Township.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says 36-year-old Rajinder Kaur was driving a GMC Acadia at a high rate of speed when it collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee at Butternut Drive and James Street around 7 p.m.

A 62-year-old Holland woman, Maria Acevedo-Venegas, was killed.

The 22-year-old woman driving the Jeep and a one-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital.
