1 killed in shooting in south Phoenix

One person is dead after being shot Tuesday evening in south Phoenix. Details are still very limited.

Phoenix police responded to the reported shooting around 8 p.m. near 22nd Street and Roeser Road. When officers arrived, they found a person who had been shot.

The shooting victim was taken to a hospital and then pronounced dead, police said.
