One motorcycle rider dead, another seriously hurt after crash in Gilbert, Arizona

A crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV in Gilbert has left one rider dead and another in the hospital Tuesday evening.

Official response and confirmed impact

The crash happened just before 7:30 p.m. at Recker and Queen Creek roads. Police said one of the riders died at the scene.

The other is in the hospital with critical injuries. Police did not say if anyone inside the SUV was hurt.
