Tornado Warning continues for Amarillo, Palisades and Pullman, Texas until 9:00 p.m.

A Tornado Warning remains in effect for Amarillo, Palisades and Pullman, Texas, until 9:00 p.m. CDT Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

The warning indicates a radar-detected tornado threat across parts of the Texas Panhandle.

Approximately 128,360 people and 39 schools are within the warned area.

Residents in the affected communities should take shelter immediately in a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building and stay away from windows.
