11 News Investigates confirmed with the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office that the current child rape cases are being handled by Baltimore County prosecutors because of a conflict with the high-ranking city SAO employee.

Baltimore County prosecutors are handling the case because the man charged, Malik Hassan Allen, 19, is the son of Hassan Giordano, a high-ranking employee at the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office.
