Coroner identifies motorcyclist killed in single-vehicle Awendaw crash

The Charleston County Coroner has identified a 69-year-old Elloree man who died after a single motorcycle crash in Awendaw.

Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal identified the victim as Ronald Dukes, 69, of Elloree.

According to the Charleston County Coroner’s Office, Dukes died at MUSC at 5:17 p.m.

Sunday from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash that occurred shortly after 1:30 p.m. Saturday on Guerins Bridge Road in Awendaw.
