Kentucky Blue Alert: Armed Suspect Sought After I-65 Attack in Warren County

Kentucky State Police issued a Blue Alert on Monday, September 28, seeking an armed and dangerous suspect following what authorities described as a “severe attack on law enforcement” on Interstate 65 in Warren County.

Police warned the public not to approach the suspect and to call 911 immediately if spotted.

Suspect May Be Traveling in Honda Civic

According to the alert, the suspect may be traveling in a blue-gray Honda Civic carrying temporary Alabama license plate TN018596.

The vehicle was last reported near mile marker 75 on northbound I-65.

Anyone who sees the vehicle should contact emergency services and avoid attempting to stop or follow it.

I-65 North Closed Near Bowling Green

Kentucky State Police Post 3 in Bowling Green confirmed that officers were investigating a trooper-involved shooting on I-65.

Bowling Green police said northbound lanes were closed at mile marker 30 and urged drivers to use alternative routes as emergency crews responded.
