Golden Meadow Man Arrested for Sex Crimes Involving Teenager

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre and Golden Meadow Chief of Police Michelle Lafont announced a man has been arrested for multiple sex offenses involving a teenager.

Arrest and charges

Ryan Greene Sr., 37, of Golden Meadow, was arrested on Friday.

This allegedly involved inappropriate touching and text messages.

Greene had also allegedly used a hidden camera in a bathroom to record video of the teen which was later discovered on one of his personal devices.

Charges and court proceedings

Earlier this month, juvenile detectives began investigating allegations involving Greene and a female juvenile as initially reported to the Golden Meadow Police Department.

Following an investigation, detectives obtained a warrant for his arrest.

On September 25, 2026, Greene was booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex on charges including pornography involving juveniles, indecent behavior with a juvenile, video voyeurism, and sexual battery.
