Man arrested in fatal 2025 Ormond Beach crash that police say involved DUI

The Ormond Beach Police Department said officers obtained an arrest warrant for Francisco Guzman-Rivera on Sept. 24, 2026, in connection with the Aug.

8, 2025, crash at East Granada Boulevard and Vining Court.

Guzman-Rivera faces charges of driving under the influence resulting in death, vehicular homicide and possession of cannabis of not more than 20 grams, according to police.

He was arrested Sept. 24 and taken to the Volusia County Branch Jail. According to the Volusia County Department of corrections he is being held with no bond.
