Dodgers recall Bobby Miller with Blake Treinen on injured list

One last transaction on the final day of the regular season, with Blake Treinen placed on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation one day after suffering the injury while warming up in the bullpen at Oracle Park in San Francisco.

Bobby Miller was recalled from the Triple-A champion Oklahoma City Comets to help fill innings for the Dodgers in Game No.

162 against the Giants on Sunday. Treinen was warming up in the top of the seventh inning but suddenly stopped, feeling something in his shoulder.

Instead, Brock Stewart entered the game in the bottom of the inning having not warmed up at all.

"I don't know if it was a complete blowout. But really unfortunate," manager Dave Roberts told reporters at Oracle Park in San Francisco on Saturday.

"We're going to get imaging, obviously it's an IL, his season's over."

Miller returns to the Dodgers having thrown scoreless innings for Oklahoma City in Games 1 and 3 of the Pacific Coast League championship series on Tuesday and Thursday.

He did not pitch in Saturday's Triple-A championship game in Las Vegas.
