20-year-old dies in Onslow County rollover crash on Kellum Road Friday night

We’re learning of a deadly crash in Onslow County Friday night. State Highway Patrol officials say it happened just after 11:00 p.m.

Officials were called to a single-vehicle rollover on drummer Kellum Road near Jennifer drive, where they say a car ran over the road and rolled-over after hitting a culvert.

They say the 20-year-old driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene.

Highway Patrol says speed and not wearing a seatbelt were factors in the accident.
