26, while a nor'easter impacts the Northeastern U.S. and two Pacific hurricanes take aim at Hawaii and Mexico.

In the Atlantic basin, former Tropical Storm Fay weakened to a tropical depression and forecasters expect it to dissipate by mid-week.

Tropical Storm Gonzalo is moving away from the Cabo Verde Islands and is forecast to diminish to a post-tropical storm over the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, a nor'easter, a strong, large-scale low-pressure storm system that forms along the East Coast, is impacting the Northeast this weekend.

In the Pacific, Hurricane Polo, a monster Category 5 storm, is aiming for Mexico with 160-mph winds, and Category 2 Hurricane Nolo is expected to pass south of the Big Island of Hawaii this weekend.

Category 3 Hurricane Odalys is in the open Pacific, far from land. While there's currently no threat to Florida, forecasters urge residents to remain prepared.
