Video: Explosion and Fire at Mexico’s Salina Cruz Refinery Injures at Least 6

At least six people were injured after an explosion triggered a fire at the Salina Cruz oil refinery in Oaxaca state, southern Mexico, officials said.

Mexican state oil company Pemex said the fire broke out in a cooling tower inside the refinery before emergency crews managed to bring it under control. Authorities confirmed there was no danger to nearby residents, while the injured — including refinery workers and contractors — were taken to hospital for treatment.
