Inside The Force: Attempted murder and drive-by shooting to be featured in gritty Cleveland Police series

Popular Channel 5 documentary series Inside The Force: 24/7 is returning for its third run – and this time, it’s Cleveland Police which is the star of the show. The 12-part series will follow the over 500-strong team at the Middlesbrough HQ to tackle incidents across the town.

Across the series, incidents include tackling a man with a knife who seriously stabs three officers, an attempted murder with a stabbing of a teenager, and a drive-by shooting through the windows of a terraced house. It also follows the different layers of police inside the station, as in-the-moment decisions are made, and reveal how the force reacts.
