Police shooting in southwest Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

Albuquerque police say its officers shot and hospitalized someone near 98th Street and Central Avenue SW.

It happened after the Albuquerque Police Department attempted a traffic stop for an ongoing investigation by its auto theft unit in northeast Albuquerque.
