Increased police presence at Great Bend Middle School following threat

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The City of Great Bend said there is an increased police presence at Great Bend Middle School following a potential threat involving three students.

The city did not specify whether the potential threat, which the district discovered on Tuesday night, was directly related to threats made to students and staff that led to the arrest of a 14-year-old boy at the

school.
