Indiana: shooting inside a parking lot, possible hostage situation

Indianapolis: Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting inside a parking lot full of semis across from the Waffle House on Knights Way Southwest side. We’re expecting an update here shortly.

IMPD says a possible hostage situation inside the cab of a semi is what led up to an officer discharging their gun, shooting an individual and killing them. They will be on scene for several hours. More to come as information comes in.
